Where is the City of Shirin located?
In the northern part of Samarkand, on the Zarafshan River, near the international road and the airport. Total area 665.1 hectares, riverfront 9.7 km.
How many people will live in the City?
The master plan is designed for 180 thousand residents; 60 thousand new jobs will be created and 37,500 apartments built.
How are land plots allocated?
Land plots are sold at auction. So far, 15 lots of 20 hectares have been sold for UZS 121 billion; another 8 hectares of vacant land will be put up for auction in the near term. Lots and their status are shown on the map.
When will construction be completed?
The project covers 2026–2030: the foundation period (2026–2027), the peak of construction (2027–2028) and completion and operation (2028–2030).
When will the administrative centre be built?
The regional administrative centre will be built first. UZS 50.0 billion has been allocated for 2026–2028, a contract has been signed with the contractor, and parallel design is permitted until April 2027.
