Drinking water and sewage

Project to modernise water supply systems and road networks in Samarkand (Abu Dhabi Fund): 22 percent complete.

Basis: Annex 6 to Presidential Resolution PQ-407 of 29 November 2024. Client: Samarkand Region Governor’s office. Chief designer: “ARX-IDEYA PROJECT” LLC. General contractor: “Maxsus suv qurilish” and “Mesmer-east” JV.

Contract value: USD 16.8 million. Scope: a drinking water facility, 5.09 km of drinking water network, 15 water wells, 2 reservoirs, a pumping station, a chlorination building; 4.4 km of sewage network; a 5 MW solar power plant (2.5 MW each) for the Chopon-ota and Dahbed water facilities.

Completed: USD 3.7 million (22%); financed: USD 3.2 million. Construction began in July 2026; commissioning — December 2027.
