Flyover bridge over the Karadarya
A bridge linking the former R. Hamrayev area of Akdarya district — construction is in its final stage.
Client: state institution “Samarkand regional roads client service”. Chief designer: “Ko‘prikqurilishloyiha” UE. General contractor: “Ko‘prikqurilish tresti” UE.
Project cost (construction and installation): UZS 260.7 billion. Completed: UZS 192.4 billion (74%). Completed in 2026: UZS 124.4 billion. Financed: UZS 240.6 billion (92%).
Bridge length — 795 linear metres, width — 29.8 metres, road category — I, carriageway — 4–6 lanes.
Installation of support and span structures and construction of pedestrian and bicycle paths are fully complete. Installing metal railings on the pedestrian paths — 80%. Tunnel construction — 95%, pylon installation — 100%, embankment work between the tunnel and the bridge — 95%. 105 workers and 30 machines are currently working on the site.
